A village was founded and exists by the will and needs of men and women over time. These conditions must have been very strong to raise a village between two rock walls that leave little room for any other natural element. The village of Molère is a set of a dozen houses used today for vacation and to enjoy the tranquility. Not even a century ago, however, was a settlement with social life and their economy. Propose a comparison with the present is practically impossible, and then come together memories, stories and even a little 'lived to describe the recent history of a point in the Gran Paradiso.           Each family had a few head of cattle and grazing necessary for their livelihood, this was the life that was repeated from generation to generation and allowed the village to have its own identity. The pastures were treated up there, under the conifers, and streams them crossed horizontally to allow adequate irrigation and fertilization. Fields of potatoes and wheat rose further above not to steal valuable grazing land and to better exploit the space were built terraces containment. The houses reflected the micro-reality mountain farmer: in one space cattle and Christians lived together with the elements necessary for everyday life. In a few square meters they coexisted the bed, the table, the stove, the cupboard for men and the manger for the cows. It was all here, because everything revolved around grazing..That was not there..           Then came the war, among other atrocities caused the destruction of the village which was burned and looted. Mindful of a past that was disappearing but which are not perceived immediacy of transformation, some children of this village wanted to rebuild a house most beautiful and made it down the valley, stone, following the criteria of the past. In a few months all dissolved: the inhabitants migrated downstream, became workers and the economic boom of them infected. The village was completely abandoned except for about three weeks a year, for the pastures of the cattle. And so it was, for about thirty years, until the last resident pre-war era, strong convictions mentioned in the introduction, he decided it was time to start over. And so in 1977 the first house was renovated, the most beautiful and within a few years resumed his hand to the village, giving it life, another life. Every generation has seen a sea change: it has gone from the house to the barn, the electric light with the asphalt road, internet and satellite TV. Every generation has its problems to maintain this place, always between two rock faces, always between two avalanches, always Molère.
